青混凝土攤鋪機規格型號較多，各類型的攤鋪機結構也不盡相同，但其結構一般由機架、 動力系統（含發動機、液壓傳動系統）、行走系 統、電控系統、收料輸料系統（含前推輥、收料 斗、刮板輸料器、螺旋分料器）、調平系統、熨平裝置等組成。上述結構中，除了熨平裝置以外，均屬于主機的主要組成部分。

主機的主要功能包括以下 4 個方面：一是牽引攤鋪機整體行走，并為攤鋪機各個系統提供動力；二是通過主機前部的推輥推動運料自卸車行進，使其完成向收料斗卸料作業；三是通過刮板輸送器和螺旋分料器將收料斗接收的混合料輸送到攤鋪寬度范圍以內；四是連接并支撐熨平裝置，為其液壓回路提供動力，并可調整熨平板位置高度和作業角度。

熨平裝置是瀝青混凝土攤鋪機的主要工作裝置，通過主機兩側的提升缸和大臂與主機鉸接在一起。全功能的熨平裝置由箱體、主熨平板（主板）、副熨平板（副板）、加寬熨平板（加長段）、刮料護板、端板、振搗機構、振動機構、厚度調節器、拱度調節機構、加熱系統等組成。
The ironing device is the main working device of the asphalt concrete paver, which is hinged to the main machine through the lifting cylinders and large arms on both sides of the main machine. The fully functional ironing device consists of a box body, a main ironing plate (main board), a secondary ironing plate (auxiliary board), a widened ironing plate (extended section), a scraper guard plate, an end plate, a vibrating mechanism, a vibrating mechanism, a thickness regulator, a camber adjustment mechanism, a heating system, etc.
攤鋪機主機后部及熨平裝置前部均設有護板，熨平裝置兩端設有端面擋板，由此在熨平裝置前部形成 1 個儲存瀝青混凝土的攤鋪材料室。其中端面擋板可使攤鋪層獲得較平整的邊緣，可調高度的熨平板把混合料刮到預鋪高度。瀝青混凝土經振搗夯錘振實后，在熨平板底面和振動器的共同作用下，形成具有一定密實度的瀝青路面攤鋪層。
